Just took the head off my sister's Corsa X14 XE engine after a cambelt snap to discover the usual chink in the piston heads and really out of place valves. If someone could answer these questions, I'd be grateful:
1. do i need to replace the pistons?
2. will the channels that guide the valves through the head be ruined? eg. is the head now scrap?
3. how much would it cost to buy a reconditioned head?
4. how much would it cost to have this head reconditioned?
