Right, as some of you may know, we've got a mid engined nova, that i am determined to put large power through the rear wheels of.
I was going to use a turbo but i HATE lag, so i was thinking about the possibility of using an M90 Eaton screw type charger instead.
Ive got stacks of room to mount the thing, and i couldnt give a toss at all about economy, so it doesnt bother me its always running.
I am however bothered about getting lots of power, i know ill probably not get quite as much at the flywheel as with a turbo, because of losing a dozen or two BHP driving the charger, but im prepared to live with that.
What other problems has my tiny little mind overlooked that you guys can think of?
Im hoping to run about 25psi from it, the reason ive picked an M90 is that its used on 4litre engines commonly with about .5-1 bar created, so it seems about the right size for creating double that amount of boost for a 2 litre engine.
