See here for Day 1
What a waste of time today was! No pics to show because there was no progress.
After analysing the bonnet hitting the cam cover and realising I needed a mounting kit, morale just dropped from there. I think all we've done all day is bolt the rocker cover on, feed thru the clutch cable and er mince!
I have some Q's tho which the day has brought about!
1 - In respect to the clutch cable it sits very tightly on the inlet manifold. It works but I can't see it lasting too long. Reading a guide it says to bend it towards the passenger side before you put the engine in. Well we've already got the engine in ( lmao ) but trying to bend that neatly and without moving the bulkhead is gonna near on impossible - is there any other way?
2 - Where the brake servo pipe goes to the inlet manifold there's a little diaphragm thing on the way - where does this go? I've got it attached to the plug on the throttle body next to the FPR vacuum,
