I drive a punto turbo 1400 turbo (petrol)

Had a new turbo fitted, standard actuator controlled pressure is supposed to be 0.8 bar in 5th.

So, I've just had another new turbo fitted, unscrewed the bleed valve so its only running off the standard actuator pressure, just fitted a blitz electronic boost gauge and in fifth its running at 1.06 bar, I dread to think what level of boost 3/4 on the standard gauge is, it currently sits halfway on the gauge, a guestimate would be around 1.7 bar constant.

thats probably why the turbo died so quickly then...
