the reason i ask this is because i am running eds phase 3+ software, with xe inlet cam, uprated actuator, polished and ported head and a twin courtenay charge cooler, with 2 extra large water rads on my let nova. i know i need an intercooler but i havnt that much room (i know i can make room but id rather not cut my front panel to bits).
could i run aquamist with my charge cooler instead of buying an intercooler? ive been taking my car out and thrashing the tits of it at 1.2 bar of boost and when i get out the car, the pipe from the turbo is red hot (obviously) but the charge cooler ,the pipe after the cooler ,the throttle and the dump valve are freezing. isnt this the sign of an efficient boost air cooler, surly this coupled with water injection would be more than enough!
its basically courtenays twin charge cooler, with 2 large heater matrixes. the origional water rad that came with the kit didnt hold much water. then someone suggested these heatre matrixes and it seams a hell of a lot better.
as long as the pipes after the charge cooler stay cold this is a good sign then. how often do you have to fill the water resovior on the aquamist?
