Was lining up the crank pulley to do the timing on my grey manta (1.8) and the crank would get to 1 full turn then jam/stop!! Any idea what could cause that? Is it shagged? tis strange cause it hasnt been touched since the last timre we turned it over to try and start it after changing the head gasket (bout 3 months ago) now it just stops after 1 full turn of the circle then u can turn it the other way but it dus the same thing at the end of the turn.
Any ideas? Was jsut about to do the timnig and start the thing anall. The only thing ive dun to it today is fit the viscous fan and belt, and fit a dizzy cap to it. Also the spark plugs are out.
