whats exhaust wrap for?
is it to keep engine tempatures down and keep exhaust gases hot so they move faster?
how far down the exhaust do you need to go?
any power gains?
yeah its thermal efficiency. as gas cools it slows down, so if you can keep it hot till it exits the tail pipe the exhaust is more efficient at scavenging the cylinders.
ideally youd have the whole exhaust wrapped, yeah as if lmao
will im make a big diffrence with it fitted?
so it would be best to do the manifild to the first box?
would 1" be better to do a 4 branch manifiold in how much would be needed?
and do the rest of the exhaust in 2"?
yeah 1" is a bit easier to work with on the manifold, as it goes round corners easier. i used 30 metres (100feet) of 1 inch wrap to do my manifold.
you seriously gonna wrap the whole exhaust?
depends on cost
what lengths do they come in at what cost?
50 and 100ft length's normaly.
About £45 for the 100ft one. www.raldes.co.uk is where I got mine from
wold it lower underbonnet temps alot?
would there be a small increase in power?
would it be worth doing the compleat system?
or just manifold and de-cat?
