I've just been having a look round the engine bay of the nova for any signs of hoses leaking etc.. When I took the bumper off I noticed a bit of fresh oil on the back of the intercooler, on closer inspection I noticed about 10 pin***** holes in the welds on the cooler
Phoned up Regal and they told me to send it back and they'll weld it up and get it back to me asap, good service i suppose but crap quality product!
never mind, just a thought for anyone who may have one anyway!!
The downside is why am I getting oil in the intercooler pipes?
I haven't noticed any smoke from the exhaust so i'm a little puzzled about what it could be.
Also would the air leak from the holes in the FMIC cause any problems with running? ie: the car still idles roughly and seems to miss slightly when idling, could this be the cause?
