this is prooving a little more tricky than expected! would appreciate advice on the following...
Will have to cut a small amount (about 1cm x 2cm) out of the subframe to get the gsi downpipe to fit....anyone else had this problem?
The mk3 airbox wont fit...is a cone filter the only option?
Where is the best place to mount the ECU within the engine bay....i dont think there is enough room behind the drivers side bulkhead, the original one was behind the glovebox but the gsi loom wont be long enough.
Is it ok to run the engine without the oil cooler, i have removed sandwiche plate and put the shorter bolt in...or in the long run, would it be best to adapt the oil cooler to fit?
just grind down the subframe slightly to clear the downpipe, ecu can go against the bulkhead but keep away from water the loom isnt long enough for the ecu to go into the car
you will have to use an induction kit .
f16 medium ratio from a sri 130 is your best bet dont use the very close ratio box or youll be visiting the petrol station very often
