c20nes power steering pump in corsa

My corsa b will have a c20ne engine, but
I have a question, Can I use the c20nes power steering pump with my Corsas power steering?
Is the enginebay big enough to put the c20nes pump?

If the C20NE is the same sort of size and layout as the c20xe then yes you can. Problem is it will probably catch on the front drivers side Tie Bar. Same as the c20xe in a corsa/tigra.

I found this out the hard way and so far haven't found a solution.

Like I said though, depends if the c20ne is the same size and layout as the c20xe, you might get lucky.

Power steering pumps on the front, offside on the NE. Low down, so yep, it'll probably catch on the tie bar.

Can't really think of any easy way around this.

Only other thing is to use an electric power steering pump.

C20NE is the same layout. PAS pump bolts to the block in the same place as the XE, since the block casting is identical, I'd say it would be fine if the XE needs no front crossmember work on that conversion.

Crossmembers not a problem. It's the tie bar on the drivers side it catches on mate.
