thank god not on mine, but a mates astra 1.4 spi. going over to whip off the old belt and tensioners to re fit a belt and see what happens. the old one completly broke at low engine speed. does anyone know if this engine clears 'or' hits the valves? its got over 100k on the engine and probly has the original tensioners on it. if its fubar'd then i recon its cheaper to fit another donkey (engine) its only a run around for the misses and kids, but going from 2 cars to one is causing probs.
