When i had my car painted last year i had to new wings and wanted the smooth no side repeater look. Just had my car and it failed on no side repeaters which i knew it would.
I got some M3 style with the indicators in them (i think they call them M4).
Anyway the indicators are LEDs. There are 3 wires which i felt puzzled buy (see instructions i got with them, below!) So i wired the blue to original live feed and black to earth and left white unattached.
The indicators flash but they look really dim, is this normal for LED indicators?
They are still just as dim if you use the white wire instead of blue, any ideas??
Yes, they do appear dim. I had a pair on the old Golf I bought as a runabout. Needless to say they were removed with haste and placed in the bin. I'd fit them as a temporary measure to be honest then fit the standard ones back on as they look cheap as well.
