My car has an LET with an F20 and a Calibra Turbo (pot-type presumably) flywheel. I've bought a flywheel second-hand but unused (he said it was an SBD one) and it's flat, so I need to change the cover but I can retain my clutch disc? That right?
If so, which cars can I get a clutch cover from besides an Astra or Cavalier 16v and will anything else fit (F18, F25)?? It's just I'm going to the scrapyard in the morning and there's no 16v Astras or Cavs in last time I looked. Oh, and if I could afford a new cover I'd buy one, I'm skint.
Umm... so one should regard an uprated XE item as (roughly) an equivalent replacement for a standard LET cover then. I think the plate is uprated already, so I think it's unavoidable hand in pocket time!
Hundred quid I paid for it from some bloke from Carlisle who'd got it with a car he bought, then never fitted it and subsequently sold the car. Seems about average, they're going for anything from £140 to £65 on eBay.
