Ok gettin a tad confused now, when i bought the car it had a bleed valve fitted, having little turbo knoledge i just knew this was a bad thing, i bought a new actuator and closed off the valve, all was fine n dandy, boosting to 0.8 holdign 0.6, didn`t think to much of it.
Next i fitted a 9 litre FMIC, mssing a descent bottom hose so turned boost right down whilst waiting for replacment this arrived to day and has been fitted, now i`ve turned the boost back up via the actuator and i`m getting all kinds of problems! Car seems to boost to about 0.8 then feels like its hit the boost limiter, car jerks violently. Even does this at lower boost when higher up the rev range?!?!
After having a closer look i have discovered that the amal valve is not conneected at all! I`m thinking this needs to be reconnected, but if its not connected how can the ECU limit boost?
I`m thinkin i can figure out where the pipes go for reconnection from the diagrams on John A`s site but wondering if this is going to cure my problems?
Thanx, For any help, Mark.
