1. It's well past time to do the change. Some people have said I need to remove or drop the engine, others have said that shouldn't be necessary. I've had the cambelt cover off before without having to remove the engine.
2. After refitting the new belt, is it easy to ensure you have the timing set up properly? Would several turns of the crank show a drift in the markings if the timing was incorrectly set up?
3. The other thing I was wondering was whether I would be able to replace the water pump without requiring the removal of the camshaft sprockets. My engine number is around the 1405400's, would Vauxhall be able to tell me?
4. Would it be advisable to replace any bolts whilst doing the change?
