As above. Anyway, I took the old cambelt off, but didn't want to rush anything, so I left it in garage to stay like that until I ask for some things.
1->Is it of some importance to check TDC with screwdriver, as I had nice lining with the old cambelt, all 3 of them.
2->How do I lubricate the rollers? I think that idler pulley needs this, because it makes little crude sound, unlike tensioner. But when I spin them, both are smooth with no play. Will WD-40 be safe on long term in inner bearings?
3->Is it safe to turn camshafts, when belt out? I did that and it seems that intake takes just 2 or 3 teeth to touch valves (from mark) Could something be out of alignment now? Cause it doesn spin even left-right.
This is my first attempt at "serious" mechanics, therefore these questions. I am just cautious. Cheers,
