I'm well on my way with the conversion, but have now come across a couple problems,
1) The engine is now mated to the gearbox and is fitted into the car, I'm still using the std distributor and hence have had to remove the heater matrix and fan assembly - how do other people get round the heater problem - do i move the dizzy / go to DIS or is there a simple way to relocate the heater matrix and fan to where the battery was.or do i just buy a coat!
2) The water outlet pipe on the end of the head above the gearbox seems to be too close to the bulkhead and will require a substantial kink or a bit of handy modding to the bulkhead/shelt where the heaterbox was mounted.
3) The engine seems to be sitting at a slight angle - leaning towards the passenger side. It's only slight and does seem to be sitting quite naturally - is this normal
Any help appreciated - photos would be cool
