the lump is going in an astra mk2 gte I was under the impression that the engine mount (one mount for the engine) would fit in the right place, all bar re building the mount and the other mounts would require the cav/cally mount on the front box mount and the rear would need seam welding.
I'm not 100% sure as to MK2 Astra dimensions. But in the MK3 if you're putting anything other than an F25 in there you need to offset the engine over 40mm iirc. This compensates for the V6 being a small block engine, the F28 for the 4 pot lumps has a smaller bellhousing.
well the conversions not due till july so plenty of time to collate info... I can't wait. Tempted to call insurance company I'm gonna use and query if I was to change to them would I lose my no claims bonus!
