    Question Flames through exhaust??

I was flicking through a mates copy of Fast car today, and i was reading about Jason ripps Fiesta.

He has a way of throwing flames out the exhaust on command (possable via a switch?)

He said its a little secret, Im intrested in knowing how this was done.

Is something injected into the exhaust pipe? Gas? Petrol?

    What do you reckon people??

you tap a sark plug into the back box, wire it up via a second coil operated by a switch in the car, flip the switch and it ignites unburnt vapour in the exhaust, and BANG

    Or the car behind.

...Jason was driving his car along minding his own business when he decided the car behind was just a little too close...

If you look on the RS owners club Bulletin Board theres several posts about how to do it on there.
Couldn't think of anything good to put in here.

I Beleive this only works best on turbo`d lumps as normal assperated engines SHOULDNT pump that much unburnt fuel into the exhaust.

    Correct me if i`m wrong.

Plus on a n/a engine the shock wave coming down the exhaust pipe doesn't always do the exhaust valves a lot of good. So I'm told.

My car will be blowing flames soon into the new year. So i will tell you if it damages anything of whether or not a lowly 1.4 engine can do it.
