I've been trying to think why my car behaves so strangley when cold. I was my friends 420 yesterday and the thermostat needle was pointing right to the floor and it still drove just like it was warm. I've seen others get it as well on this board.
It occured to me that if there was condensation formed on the inside of the breather pipe and in the throttle housing then it would cause the engine to run strangly.
I'm a perfectionist, I know its annoying. I just see other peoples cars and they can just get in and drive it. With mine I put the accelerator to 3,000rpm and it goes from 1 to 2 fine, then stops and thinks for a bit and then goes up to 3.
Great fun for smooth driving .
I'm just thinking out loud. I don't want the car to be no fun when its cold.
mine doesnt like cold much either till the engine warms up a bit...think of it as a built in protector of the engine when cold cem, if you get in and drive a cold car like its warm it wouldnt last to the end of the road
mine is the same only I dont think there would be that much condensation as mine takes till at least one green sec is lit till it runs right? I have changed the ecu temp sender and the termostat recently so I am at a loss maybe its to give xr2 drivers a chance?
PS I dont own a Goat would a really stong hampster do?
