yesturday the car sarted to misfire, thought it was the plugs so i changed the this morning, went out seemed ok, but the engine was cold(i diddnt boot it as i was missing at 2.5k to 4k) so went to my mate to help fix his car, seemed ok in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, but when i 4th and 5th is misses badly, im getting loud bangs out of the exhaust and out the trumpets as in fu cking loud, scared the **** out of me, so i pulled in to the next services and checked everything and it all seemed fine, but the FPR gauge was reading 50psi but when revved it dropped to about 45psi, so i upped the pressure so it stays at 50 psi when revved, but it diddt seem to make any difference, still did it but not as violently.
anyway got home and plugged it into the lappy just to check all the sensors were working and they are, had all the symptoms of a dodgy cts but its reading a tempreture, im stummped, any ideas??
hmm, took the dizzy off and it looked ok, but ill get a new one tommorrow and a rotor too, how do i check resistance on the leads, they are magmecore 8mm ones and are under warrnty so if they are fecked i can get them replaced FOC
Don't know how simmilar it is but on our twin 45 setup we had an air leak from the misab plates and it caused a miss also got a bit of crap stuck in the air inlet and did the same both misses were only at load and made worse in higher gears .
Maybe check all is balanced fine and sealed?
