Now quick run down of history, I bought a cav turbo with a very badly damaged transfer box, also the core plug so to speak on the accumalator block had blown out so was run with no PAS as it was all dry for i dont know how long.
I fitted a replacement acc' block and filled with oil and bleed as per procedure's. unknown TXB condition at this time, tryed pas all working no noise's tryed 4x4 and a klunking when driving was heard.
I then removed my TXB to replace it with RDS's unit as we fitted a Fixed one to his car.
once removed and striped it was evident of some major damage!
Now i am running 4x4 allthough i am running cheapie Nankang tyres and had to put spare on yesterday, new tyres on there way at the weekend.
Drove the car tonight and found it to be wheel spinning??? i went to check pressures and yes one front was well low. all back up now 38psi front 35psi rear.
Try again and still wheel spinning on start off. the conditions have been raing today and the road is still wet BTW.
Also I am running phase 2 at the moment.
Tryed a launch on a dryer road, 5K rpm and up clutch (dont do this often) wheel spin for a moment not sure if all 4 span or not just took off!!!
now are my worst fears begining on me??
TXB on its way out??
oh and no oil from breather. pas fluid level is spot on too.
This weekend i will give it an oil change and see what happens.
