Right, now I have an engine that works sweetly, I fancy a go at getting the darn thing to handle.
In my wisdom I banged on some mk2 GTE 1.8 -60mm springs, which has dropped the suspension 83mm ( I measured it last night after the Malvern meet) I left on the standard, but good condition shocks.
The 17s are coming on Wednesday, and i think they may catch
The strange thing it does is this: the steering wheel more or less has 3 settings - Left , centre, and right, and its almost notchy in between.
For example if i turn the wheel to the left and boot it, it wont strighten itself, and will steer me into the nearest kerb.
Also, understeer is very prominent.
And there is some really wacky camber on the front. How can I correct this back to a more normal setting?
