my point was you can have either combination, we cant tell you how yours is set up just from the engine you have.
having a regulator in series means you can only INCREASE the pressure over standard. like i said earlier, pressure would be governed by whichever is providing the greatest restriction. and seeing as the stock regualtor is fixed you cant go lower than its pressure, only higher.

Just askin cus i can get a powerchip dirt cheap and the guy at collins was trying to sell me a Power Boost Valve, i`ve tried one of these before and it did give slightly better throttle response but also sapped power (Proven on Rollers) and made me car cut out on overun! Guy says with the head work i`ve already done and then the chip the car will be underfueling?
