is my oil pressure high?
When cold i have a full gauge and also when normal temp/hot.
Should it not drop slightly when warm, does anyone think this is a problem?
nb sometimes after i've turned engine off the gauge still reads 1 block of bars or flickers to two. i take it this is just residual pressure that is dissipating?
at hot idle it should drop yes. faulty sender or sticky pressure relief valve.
My Digi dash sometimes stays at the first mark once I've killed the engine. But my mechanical gauge goes down to 0. So it could be a faulty sensor/digi dash. Worth checking though as high oil pressure could cause problems, blow the crank seal etc...
