Any idea how to take off and replace the timing belt on a single over head cam cavalier engine (1.8 / 2.0). Engines are gay. Fixed the fuel pump - took it off, put it back on and it worked. I'll leave that alone now . But Noticed the timing belt is really slack.
Need to do it on 2 engines. Take the old one off - put the new one on.
I can't work it out unless you take the end of the crank off. Undoe the big main bolt and then the smaller ones with the allen key. Then it'll just slide off.
Is that the way to do it (no punch and judy references intended)?
