Well, mine leaks. And as much fun as it is changing it, I've got a feeling it will just leak again.
This is with autovaux gaskets, genuine vaux RTV on cap/oil pump joins, bolts threadlocked and torqued correctly.
What options are there? And gaskets different to the rubberised cork ones that seem rather pants? Has anyone used the 8v baffel plate/gasket successfully?
Or is there a later sump which uses the 14/16XE gasket design. Channel/grove in sump which you put in a rubber gasket, then just bolt it up, no leaks. Any of the late X20/Y20 engines have sumps like that which would fit?
