Right as ur aware its in the garage being worked on for buggered comression in cylinder two even though it still is making 166bhp which im happy about but would rather see the engine running its top spec
Now when i bought the redtop fully rebuilt off a migger last christmas it had oversized pistons in and the bottom end was re-bored.
Today i find that the piston ring in cylinder two is almost defo cracked and the cause of the lost comression in cylinder two.
I have two choices in mind.
A) Get my mate the mechanic to take the bottom end aprt and replace the piston ring and thus finally feel what this rebuilt engine is capable of atlast! But he needs the size of pistons put in and measurements of re-bore of which i can't get hold of GTEJON off mig to find out
B) Just stick another bottom end off a red-top in my white warrior thus in doing so not see the potential of my rebuilt bottom end what sob ever as its obviously more than a 1998cc now init.
What do i do?
