My oil rpessure is giving me a few headaches.
When I frst fire her up, I get the full 5 bars on the standard gauge. and once it's warm I get full pressure over 4000rpm but if I go over an indicated 85mph for a five minutes or so, the gauge drops a bar. But, If I then slow down to 65 for 30 seconds or so, and then speed up again, I;ll get the full 5 bars again for a few minutes.
I thought lazy pressure relief valve spring so changed that and had a shufty at the valve. Valve seemed fine and the spring wasn't any shorter than the new one.
And this is the problem after changing the spring and oil and filter.
I'm thinking maybe the big end bearings are knackered but I'm not 100% after m previous prognosis seemed o be crap.
What do you think??
