I have a Group N chipped ECU I got with the Group N Cams I have in the GTE.
Thought I'd try the ECU and found the following:
Starting took a bit longer than Normal.
To work and back today the EM light was on (Last night it wasn't and this evening it hasn't been on)
Tried the rev limit in 3rd gear, and bootled out at 98mph indicated, revcounter was full scale, and no signs of limitting.
I read the fault codes tonight and got Code 55 - ECU Fault.
Is this code produced because of something the Coutenay chip does?
Why would it not come up every time I use the car?
Also would the Courtenay Chip change the rev limit? anyone know what to?
and Lastly, albeit only indicated 98 mph but does that sound unrealistic for an F20 20XE?
