I need to lower the cr of my engine due to a turbo application. ( 20seh about 100k km. absolute perfect condition ).
current CR: 10:1
objective: +/- 8.5:1
1. thicker head gastket, copper gasket etc.
2. taking about 1,2 mm ofthe top of the piston
3. buying a set of low comp pistons. ( price?? )
Option 3 offcourse is the best solution. How about option 2? I've read somewhere about people doing this. How safe is this? Will my piston be to weak to withstand the pressure? I plan on running minimal 0.7 bar pressure but hope 1.0 bar
The fueling etc. I already know how I am going to do that ( togethet with all the other things.)
