Few days ago I fitted the Quaiffe ATB Differential in my car. I fitted in a Opel service dealer and I gave them 170 euro ~120 GPB for working&parts must needed change. I don't know if I payed expensive.
So, now I am from the lucky guys who have a differential like this in our cars.
My problem is the above..
My car is about standard around 150-155bhp.
But it spins the wheels easy even with the ATB fitted & with second gear.
These it happens because in Greece the roads is like to drive to ice.
When I turn fast with a second gear and use more than half gas pedal the car wants to understeering. I discovery that if I turn more the wheels, the care close the circle and the understeerind is reduce. Sometimes the same it happens if you give some more in accelaration pedal. But if you put on the floor the accelaration pedal you have 100% understeering, because you loose the traction in both wheels. This it happens that I sayed again even with the second gear and in speeds around 40 mph with a standard c20xe engine. Before anyone says that I don't have good tyres, I have F1's with 205/45/16 diameter in good condition.
The problem is the roads.
Some of you have this differential or your cars.
I want to ask, what is the best way to drive fast a fwd car with a lsd diff,in the enter of the turn, inside the turn, when you go out of the turn, and what other you know when steering fast with a diff like this.
I know that with time I will make a practice of it, bit always some of you may know some more than me.
