Went for the AA in the end!!!
On the car side of things all i have done is washed it. I need to remove the dash on the astra too. The idiots who fitted my alarm messed up all the lights!!! First of all they wire the glove box light wrong so it kept blowing fuses! And they have wired the dash leds wrong as one side of the dash is lit up permanently and the other never works. Also there must be a loose connection somewhere also because all the lights turn off some times!!!! Its a pain! On the other hand i don't want to remove it cause i'm bound to feck it up some how lol.
Also need to be de-badge and remove the rub strips without damaging the paint work!!! Lots of things i need to learn this winter! woo hoo. Need some vectra handles too!
Turbo Power is here!!!! And my god i LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, car didn't get broken into.
Had to park under my neighbours oak tree whilst we had our new driveway done, and an acorn fell on the rear screen and shattered it! Was a tiny little fecker as well!!!lmao

    Hi guys!

Any chance you could all take a look at the 'Future plans for the region' thread & let us know what you think about/whether your up for the Xmas type gathering?

Think we should all make a bit more effort in Eastern as the support/turnout for events that people try to organise seems a bit lacklustre of late

Hello All. Nice to see this post getting busy again, sorry to hear about everyones troubles.

On a positive note I have sold the Supra and The BMW which means the Astra is going back on the road as Anita's daily runaround.

A bit ironic that its been sat in the garage all summer.

By the way thanks for the battery Dan, your a life saver as usual, those favours I owe you are adding up.

I have had an agreement from Anita that if she uses the car over winter any damage that is done like stonechips, vandalism, inconsiderate drivers in car parks or anything else will be repaired in time for next years show season.

If anyone has a spare set of Cav GSI alloys with good tyres for sale I would like to store the 18's over winter. Any condition as I will clean and respray them if they are too bad. The cheaper the better.

I wont be able to make it to the meet next week, I have a wedding to go to that I cant get out of. (And no, its not my own. )

I feel a bit bad since I pushed for a late Southend meet before the winter sets in.

You know I would be there if I could. Hope it turns out OK.

    Hi all

The replacement for the cav has been purchased, Esther + me are now the proud owners of a 1994 Corsa SRi in Flame Red.

Brian, sorry you can't make it.

Dan, my boots were made for walking, don't worry, I'm looking forward to flyer hand out duty.

Thanks for thinking about me Dave, but I should be OK. Its the school holidays this week so I have a couple of days at home and so does Anita, that means we can survive with the Skoda and I have a week to collect the wheels from North Wales and get some Tyres, then I can stop being paranoid about any damage to my beloved IKON's.
