Good points, they're the reasons puttin me off.

I think twin headlamps, spoiler, splitter and mine will look sorted then. Your manual days are over???? if you had your car in a manual, i reckon you'd love it even more...

Looking doubtful for this sunday, just forked out for the new bits on my cav, including the steering rack (at last!!), so i'm pretty skint, now i've decided to keep the car, i might get a non-standard steering wheel, if i do is that ok?
If i don't do that and decide to have a standard steering wheel, it'll be the end of this month, if you're visiting your mum, if not i'll send a cheque for it including the postage...

Whatever you want regarding the steering wheel mate, it's here if you want it

Erm... I'd hate my car in manual, coz I wouldn't be able to drive it

Motorbike accident last year..... fooked left elbow.... still fooked, gotta be removed (completely) and replaced with something less practical (most likely a metal bar) or more painful (like bone grafts from me leg, or something - maybe even a complete replacement from a dead bloke)

I'm pleased to see that some women are on the same wave length as us blokes. If they all were the roads would be a greater place.

Gotta go now, hometime, speak to ya tommorow, bye bye...

Just wondered, will we ever have as our eastern meet, a day doing the quarter mile drag, or has it been done, if not it could be fun, i think.

Cool idea Stretch......... that'll take some planning and some serious support from members in the region!!
It has been mentioned to investigate having a private track day!!
All ideas will be considered, but it's down to each and EVERY member to lend their support or at least tell me they're not interested!!

Thanks

Its a good idea. Weather its fiesable (sp) I don't know. Mr P. I think some investigation work on this is going to be needed. If you don't ask, you don't get, blah blah!!

As for the private track day. I have looked a little into this. Well, er... its like this. To hire Snetterton for one day (9am - 5pm), as a private track day is about 8000 pounds. This may sound expensive to start with, but, if say 100 cars turn up. 80 quid. Not bad as that gets you 20mins in every hour or there abouts. That also includes marshals, medical crew etc etc. To conclude on this one. I thinks its to far advanced for one region, but perhaps as MIG as a whole??????

PS. Niel did you E mail over that information we were talking about the other day? Its just that if you did, I didn't get it.

It was a good guess, i've seen a picture of your car in the gallery and remember seeing one identical in Cromer? Did you buy it from a garage in St.Faiths?, as i also saw a similiar one for sale there quite a while back.

I live near the airport and have got a metallic grey astra, if you see one with a mig sticker thats me

Are you going to the eastern meet this sunday? wanna go in convoy so i dont get lost?

Anthony

Yes m8 that would be good if you don't mind. What time you planning on being there and is it easy to find/clearly signposted.

Cheers

Stretch - Well, its like this. Poor ol' Mr paws's memory isn't what it was. He's easily confused these days, so everything has to be done slowly and one thing at a time.

Only joking Niel!!

Na, nothing has been finalised yet that I know of. But rest assured a thread will be created when Mr. Paws gets a min.
