    Can't find the pics anymore.

Depends if you want a GSi enough, as soon as i can afford it i want a Cav Turbo, but i'll need at least 3 years ncb, so want i might do is get 2 years ncb, and by a 1.8 Astra GSi and drive that for a year then upgrade to a Cav. Affordable performance and looks!

Don't think i'll be going to any of the meets till next year, it so difficult to get sundays off in my current job, and i can't drive the astra.

He's got a Nissan 200sx Turbo S14 and its fapping lovely! In black, its standard bar an exhaust and clear indicators at the moment and it looks evil!!
Though does mean when he puts the kit on it in the new year, i'll have a nice splitter to put on my GSi front bumper!!

My Vaux is easy to work on, but i think thats because there is about 4 wires in the entire car!lmao

Sounds like a plan, I have decided to keep the 1.6 as it's better the devil you know. That and I'll get back into bad habits with a big engine!!

I shall start on it after xmas I reckon. I had a Rover 623is last year with a honda 2.3 twin cam engine in, must admit, that engine was great!!!

eh?? There has been a meet every single month since me and peaky became co-ords. Ok so they haven't been ur usual date or type of meet but if those so adverse to change don't like it, they can organise something else themselves. We simply intended on providing something different for the members on MIG. Be nice if it was a) supported and b) appreciated.

U guys tell us what u want then? Do u want same day each month, same place, same time, same people?

I had a pm from a prospective member asking when the meets are. I said every last sunday of the month and he said he couldn't make it cos he works every sunday. At least he wanted to come to a meet tho. If we had some flexibility (without members moaning about it) we could accommodate more people and have a wider mix of people rather than the usual suspects each time.

You guys tell us what you want and we will organise it. Simple.
In the big scheme of things, are we insignificant?

    Re: Eastern Chat

Come on now lads and lasses. No need for the griping bout lack of meet organisation.

Myself or Jo have organised a meet every month this year oher than when it is not suitable due to a show or event like Drizz's opening.

If I were to organise anything substantial at this time of the year who would HONESTLY bother to turn up???? Not many me thinks!!!!

I've been talkin to Dave from BB about having a RR session, Thing is though how many people actually keep their pride and joy on the road over the winter (Mine is at the mo but I'm MOT'ing the R5 tomorrow ready for the 1st of December ) and would turn up? This is definitely a spring/summer event. So I was thinking March/April/May next year.

Also Christmas is fast approaching so peeps have no money. No money = no people turning up to expensive activities.

If anybody has any out of this world ideas that would make people come to a meet (Other than paying/bribing them of course ) then please send them in the direction of either myself or Jo (RedDevil).

Feel for you mate, cant you get rid of the ****ter and get something a bit better like a sinclair C5, then you dont need to drive around in a bit of french crap.... lmao

My cars been off the road since 1st November, firstly because the Tax run out and I cannot afford to retax it, especially as I dont use it much nowdays.

In fact its up for sale, not advertised it yet in any major way but unless my finances improve a bit over winter its gonna have to go in the Spring. My TV Feature will be out in February and I have asked them to mention it and put my number up to see if anyones interested.

It aint gonna be cheap, I'd rather keep it than flog it for the sake of it.

    Re: Eastern Chat

I'm MOT'ing it today to see whether its worth keeping on the road. If it is then its a cheep reliable car for the winter and can't realy afford to go out and buy something "nice". However. If it is too expensive I have a Mk2 astra 5 door lined up . A nice £250 bargain. Have to see what happens today.

It'll be such a shame if you do have to sell your car mate. Its one of the few cabriolets that I like.

A nice 5 door Mk2 Astra sound OK, Good luck.

I know it would be a shame, I feel I have put my heart and soul into the cabriolet. I know I would never have another car like it unless I can afford a new performance sports car. Hence why I wont let it go for silly money, someone would really need to love everything I have done to it, want to continue to look after it and have realy deep pockets.

    Re: Eastern Chat

Had the MOT this morning and it failed . But not bad enough to warrant another car. . So yet again I shall be driving my R5 for the winter.

On the up side though, insurance will be considerably cheeper for the next few months and I'll prob use about £20 less petrol a week. Bargain!!!!!!!!!!!

I do however have to put up with armchairs for seats, boat like suspension, a standard stereo, and absolutely no power. Bugger

A tyre, a whole in the sill, a broken nmuber plate and a couple of blows in the exhaust. All sorted now other than the exhaust which will be sorted in the next couple of days.

Not too much but it still envolves spending money on a Renault!!!!!!!!

Got the 5 through its MOT yesterday. . Unfortunately I am having to contemplate selling my Astra . I have no money, christmas is coming and I'm going Florida on holiday next year. .

Looks like I aint gonna have a Performance vauxhall to play with for at least 6 months now!

That means I need everyone to bring their stupidly quick vauxhalls to meets for me to ride in. With out a dose of rapid vauxhall at least once a month I may go insane.
