The STT is finally getting sorted

To be honest it really isn't very fast Spankee is very busy with work and so am I so neither the FMIC work or the little odd jobs are getting done. That said I don't think I've got much planned this weekend so I can get on with some bits.

Doesn't look like she will be at Billing with the 19s on but it will be there and looking good.

Well today was a busy one! With help from the Mrs (cheers babe!)

1. Rocker cover polished, previous owner had let it go
2. Engine bay cleaned, but more to do
3. Grill resprayed, much less of a rush job now (Mrs handy work)
4. Scratches on passenger rear door sorted
5. Rocker bolt set changed, included dropping allen key down the oil fill lol
6. Front bumper patched up, still needs a respray but ok for now
7. Restitched middle rear seat belt buckle

Lots more little jobs to do and bits I have that need to go on but things are moving in the right direction. Pics tomorrow!

Hands off you, they will get sorted out soon enough! They need a refurb and a couple of tires hence the delay getting them sorted yet.

Oh my god, has it been this long since I updated!

Well the FMIC finally got put on this week using mostly hard pipes made to measure. Started on cleaning up the engine bay with the battery tray out and painted. New slimline radiator in too. I've also managed to get about half of a Roose breather and ancilliary kit on.

She'll be running Sunday. She'd start once the battery tray and battery were back in and water put in but I've promised Dingle he can start her up when he's over next on Sunday. It's the least I can do for him given all his help bless him!

More progress today again with great help from Dingle and dontations from Spankee (cheers guys!)...

Standard fan and cowling out - slimline fan in (LOADS more room!)
More Roose pipes installed including troublesome heater matrix pipes
Hard pipes for Intercooler replaced on one side to clean them away from chassis
Beginnings of engine bay tidy up and decluter
New wing mirrors put on
Full bodywork wash and paint clean (boy did it need it!)
Expansion bottle cleaned
Ran her up!

Next jobs are to install fan control switch (on order) and to sort out the old police spec wiring to get the washers working. Then it can be tested and taxed

Fan control switch in and the wipers sorted so it could now be MOT'd and should pass. Bumper and grill off to be resprayed next week and load of job still to do before I want to go there though. As the bumper spraying suggests work is now going to be more out of the bay for a while until I can work out a plan for clearing it of clutter.

Cheers mate, it's getting there slowly I really do need to find another set of VXR 19s so the new one looks like the old one as so many people have commented on how good it looked. Money has gone on the running gear this time around but it just has to be done

Its recently had the following done...

Slimline fan installed and wired in (LOADS of room created!)
Adjustable fan switch installed and wired
Wiring around drives wing relocated
Carbon interior pieces installed
Some dash bling (pics soon)
Regal top hat cut back to 60mm section
Top hat pipe replaced (all now 60mm)







Trying to figure out how to hide the PAS res and the header tank. Typical Benn he has suggested under the slam panel, looks like a LOVELY job!

I have been guilty of not updating this thead. Needless to say a lot of cosmetic stuff has been sorted out in the last six months that needed doing to get it tidy. It also has new wheels and some new interior bits.

Will be at Billing with MVOC (now helping run it) some come and take a look. It's not Benn quality yet but I am trying slowly.
