    Re: engine fitment

Should be fine. What engine is it though? You said it was a 16v then in a post or two above you say it's an 8v? Just curious.

Anyhoo, should be all good in the hood, the loom that comes with your new engine will have everything you need on it, after all, you're just removing one engine complete with it's loom and ecu and replacing it with another engine complete with it's loom and ecu.

Have you sorted what brakes you're going to use though, has your 1.2 got solid or vented front discs?

    Re: engine fitment

Good little engine that, I had a 94 Corsa SRi with the same engine:

Tis' no big problem on the brakes front, and it's an easy upgrade.

You will need the front discs, calipers and more importantly, the caliper carriers from a Cavalier (2.0 or under) or Calibra (2.0 non turbo) or Astra mk3 GSi. The discs are 256mm in diameter.

    OR

Nip down the scrappies and find a vented set up from a corsa, maybe the guy who sold you the engine still has them?
