Re: Billing 2008

Hi guys, Matt, i'd forgotten about that pic!

BIG thanks to everybody in the Eastern region for the effort involved in winning joint best region 2008.

I can't thank you all enough, Matt and Rod, it was really good to meet you, you guys are ace, I can't stop picturing you two sat there saturday morning smoking the cigars! I love it when a plan comes together!!

Sorry Lynsey and myself weren't there to say goodbye, but thank you very much for the note.

Rob and Danni (who's sponsored by a www.aquarterof.co.uk isn't she???) was REALLY good to see you guys again, we had a good old giggle upsetting and offending EVERYONE in the pub Friday!!

Thank you very much you guys.

Chris, what can I say other than, erm, Picasso bus of love!!!

Chap you are a LEGEND the paddling pool (complete with swords, dragon and cannon I might add) was the BEST addition to a Billing weekend so far, we need to keep that handy!!

Pete and brother (sorry I can't remember your name ) was good to meet you, I hope that Billing was the first of many shows for you with us Eastern lot, I reckon you fit right in. (Moobs anyone???)

Brian + Sam, thanks for bringing quality publications such as Performance Ford???? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!!!

Seriously though, thanks for coming, the cab is always a welcome addition on the Eastern stand and rightly deserved the attention it got.
(Must say though Brian, I think Sam is addicted to Jack Daniels BBQ sauce!!!)

Steve, thanks for letting me move your car about on the stand, was good to see you mate as always

Again, thanks everybody for making the extra effort to keep your cars nice'n'shiny all weekend, and letting me order you around when it came to the stand!!!

Personally, I had a great weekend, Lynsey had a blast as well, thanks to you all for making it a good'un.

Sorry for the lack of pics from me, the poxy camera decided to have a breakdown so I couldn't take ANY!

I would like to request that everyone posts up a pic of themselves in the "Eastern gang" shirts that we all bought though!!

OK, going to stop rambling now, I've probably forgot LOADS of stuff, so I apologise if I have.

Again, thanks to you all.

Re: Billing 2008

Just wanted to say a big thank you for putting up with me (and Kev, lol) popping over from Mk3OC at various intervals over the weekend and for making me (/us) feel welcome. Had a brilliant time at the pub Friday so thanks for that too (which reminds me I owe you a drink at the next occasion Mark).

It was good to see those of you I already knew and to meet some new people. Had a brilliant time over the weekend and am already looking forward to next year!

Thanks again!!
