Mate you are not far from me, Cambridge/northampton boarder. If you head up the A14 you wil find a scrap yard called Burtons, you can pick up some steels and tyres for around £10-£15 each as a run around.

round the corner from my unit, 10 mins from my house, cheap, the cars are not stacked up and the staff there very nice and polite also will not rip you off, anything £3 or under goes into the charity tins.

nope was useless, asked if they had any and just said vecs are over there, werent very helpfull,
