| Well i got the van in the garage yesterday for some mechanical and body work fettling.
Flushed water system as it was all rusty and brown new spark plugs leads etc. new header tank and new bettery. nothing to exciting but was needed. Turned the key dash lit up and woohoo she fired and purrrrrrred like a kitten. was unsure of the exhaust at first but when had running for a while she settled down and sounded awsome.
Took both front wings of and bonnet and the bumber so she's naked up front till i can get it to my mate whos if goingto fit and paint the front end.
So next on the list tidy up the enigine bay and loose a lot of the wires that are just laying around as normal conversions have. paint the rocker cover to match the colour of the van do the sprk plug cover fit my new hubs and bearings (five stud) get some turbo rims and have them powder coated in anthercite. Fit my new half leather recaros form a rover vitesse turbo. all in not to much much to do but enought to keep me busy for a while.
ill get some pics up soon. |

Then I saw the light and bought a VX. |

| Well deposit paid, need to pick it up on payday with the rest of the dosh. But happy with it all the same.
Will be some bits to tidy up before the tuning work I have planned for it can start. Will be a photoshop thread soon with a side pic of the car and some wheel suggestions on there. I really cannot decide if I like these or not.... |
