| August Meet Right I think its time we had a proper meet this time as opposed to Southend. Im sure we will nip down there again in August but maybe we should have an alternative location this month.
We can do Chelmsford again or Braintree, Sudbury, Ipswich etc
Any ideas for this one? Anything anyone would like to do and when? Quite a lot happening this month what with Ford Fair, USC, Donny South, Touring Car day (special invite only ) so dates are limited and also bear in mind we have Trax first weekend in September so do we even need one this month?
Sod it shall we just go Southend again?

| 19th is my 17th Birthday!
Apart from the 19th, every other day is good for me... Apart from Enrolment day at college!
Where in Braintree/Sudbury do people meet? |

| My Suggestion: *Braces self to get ignored!*
Wednesday 23rd August at Colchester, continuing on to a pub, carpark etc in the local area...
*My suggestion was made as Colchester is pretty central and has lots of places/things to see and do* |

| Yeah as Mark said chap weeknights are a bit of a no go TBH. People up early for work or late home wont bother going, needs to be weekend. Shall we just leave it for Trax now? |

| All sudgestions welcome mate Thats the whole point of the thread, to be honest a lot of other clubs have very succesfull weekday meets, but they tend to be clubs like RS owners or Jap clubs with dedicated members who's life revolves around there cars and the clubs... We are realy just Vauxhall owners who love our cars but have a life and use the meetings as a chance to get together for a drink and a chat..... we rarely ever stand outside by the cars for petes sake....
I think Trax is gonna be the best idea mate, perhaps having one late September would be best.

| What about at the end of the month (Last saturday of August...)
I say 25th August, Hare & Hounds pub (Braintree) or The Albert in Colchester?
And then on to Mersea Island for a beach party |
