Alright Widdy.
I think you should leave your Astra as it is, that way I can have a bit more of a relaxing drive . Seriously I think your car goes really well and handles fantastic. If you was to get throttle bodies and after market management your looking at close to £2000, then on top of that you ve got fitting and mapping, it makes it alot of money for 20 ish bhp. Dont think Im being negative to tuning but I've had to spend thousands to get my engine to where it is now and there was not that much difference between our cars.

Hello Widdy, nice to see you signed up here... i did notice one thing on your car that didnt make much sense to me, you have stand alone management that doesnt use the airflow meter, but the airflow meter is still fitted...

Bin it as its just causing a restriction.

Loved the car though and it looked superb out on the track too, when my corsa is done we will have to meet up at snett for some track action.

I was gutted that the gte didnt get chance to fight it out on the track with yoiu, there is always next time. lol

Hi thanks, will remove the airflow meter,is there anything i need to put in place of it, will try it at Snetterton on wendesday, looking for a new exhaust systym and manifold, the engine is blueprinted, still loads to learn about the car, never really been into front wheel drive, mainly driven rear wheel drive elises, exsiges, leading edges etc, was told that the red top was a good engine and was impressed the first time at snetterton, the car really turns in well and can get the power down well, the chassis is very strong and and can make up loads of time around the twisty bits, A big thanks to Drizz who gave me loads of imfo on the car looking forwards to learn about getting the set up right, looking forward to next time at Woodbridge and hopefully meet more members!!
