He's just started him own business but has been painting for years, he's taken care of all my bodywork needs since i've owned the mk3 (randomly i bought it off him as a standard 1.4 merit in 2003!)
Can't recomend him enough if you want anything from blowing in a wing to full re-spray.

I need a couple of bits done on the Astra but have always used CL Panelcraft in Braintree for the cabby. They are expensive but a proper bodyshop with booths and ovens so the work is always spot on. I have another guy in Braintree I use for my other cars who just works out of a Unit, he is cheap but that does reflect in his work i'm afraid.

Am tempted to give your mate a go as I only need the front bumper and some interior dash parts doing.

Paul could help both of you, he's new unit also has a proper spraying booth at the back and a sealed paint mixing room, etc. Plus he has a massive new car trailer so collection and delivery isn't a problem, if cars don't work or don't want to put the miles on etc.

Comission? You should have PCC plastered down the side of your green machine in big chrome letters!

Indeed, i was very happy with the paint job on the Astra last time, as was my mate who had his black S14a 200sx painted Mazda Flair (gold) by Paul.

VERY bad. (Over charges for work not done)

Charged me £30 to pop his head through the window of my Omega and tell me the gearbox was wrong - Hence "Gearbox Fault" on the MFD.

MGH Autocare on the BLUEBRIDE Estate, As mentioned below, VERY good bloke, cheap, experienced, perfect!

agreed wouldnt touch them with a barge pole, has very bad reputation in the area.
however i can highly recommend MGH on bluebridge industrial estate. Top bloke, who has never let me down, even staying open late on a saturday to take a look when my car broke down.
