| Re: number plate colour Quote:
FAO Andy with the Astra with the black number plates..!
Do you get any bother from the police with that type/colour of number plate fitted to the front and rear of your car mate.?
Its just that I would like them on my car as they go well with Burgundy.
Cheers
Micky
I think he said he has had them on for 5 months now - and not got stopped once!
If i remember correctly he doesnt have them on every day, he only uses them for meets/shows etc.
Trig Guess it depends on how randy the coppers are where you live and how you drive...
As Andy is not online at the moment - and he was talking to me earlier about them....
I think he said he has had them on for 5 months now - and not got stopped once!
which sounds good to me! |
Cheers for interest and replys. To clear things up...a bit of both really: I've had the rear one on for months now...and yes got away with it.....but it took a lot of effort: every copper i see i avoid, its quite funny but also getting to be a pain in the @rse. So i'll probably be changing it back soonish. As for the front one i figured that'd be pushing my luck a bit too far as its a tad under-sized too and so only stays on for a couple of days around shows/meets. |

| Just wanna say thanks to Oly for all the organisation etc as i think it was much appreciated by everyone. A good day and some good results had by most. The rain held out most of the day and a good turnout was seen.
I got quite a few photos too, but Oly's has a good variety so unless any one wants a specific one I won't bother posting unles i get some spare time as they'll take a while.
Cheers guys |
