Blackpool illuminations meet/day out 22nd October

Right then guys as discussed at the montly meet at the peacock hotel last sunday i have looked into the blackpool illuminations run.
The illuminations are on till 6th Nov but more people will be attending bonfire parties then so i went for the weekend before that which makes it Sat 22nd oct

Im open to ideas but i thought if we set off around 12 ish then we could get the for about 2.30 ish and have a play in the arcades get something to eat and look around ect. Then have a drive thought the lights, get some photos before heading off back home.

Of course if you guys have any other thoughts please feel free to post them up.

If any other regions want to tag along then we are more than happy to meet up with you.

im still a little unsure bout goin cuz of the date, got halloween party n bonfire nights planned too .... me and alex are liking to tag along n go but not sure of the date so if theres any chance on changing the dates to later november ? wud b really great cheers mate if not, thats understandable :-)

ok mate illuminations are only on till 6th november (same weekend as bonfire night) so if anything it would have to be earlier but no worries. i just thought this would be giving the members the most notice.

Ok, silly me i didnt think about halloween weekends to so heres the choice 22nd oct or 29th oct for this does anyone have any thoughts or preferances?

Im up for either, although can i make a request we plan a route with decent roads instead of spending 3 hours on the motorway hopefully i'll have the corsa back on the road by then!

i was planning going to manchester via the a623 i think it is towards stockport. then 1.5 hours on the motorway lol
it is easier to keep in convoy on the motorway though.

I know it is mate, just motorways arent that interesting lol as long as theres a few twisties along the way, should be fun i'd prefer it to be 29th really but its up to everybody else

So next weekend if anyone else wants to join in, probably setting off around 12 ish we will get there for about 2.30 ish give is plenty of time for a little fun before going for a cruise down the seafront through the lights. please feel free to join us there if you dont want to convoy or are from a different area.

Si - look above your 1st post you should see various menus you can pull down to edit the thread title (ie change the date) etc...

Done it for you this time but you've got man buttons now! lmao

Just above your 1st post you should have a menu saying "administrative" - it's in there.

If not then Benn hasn't given you priveledges and wants kicking in the nuts

Alright mate, just a thought but have you invited any other mig-regions to join in/meet us there? Some new machines and faces will always be nice! I'm sure there will be some interest. Not sure if I can make it in a vauxhall but the bora will be ready as ever

No worries mate, car looked well when i saw it about 2.30 today going down derby road. spotted it from miles away with the wheels.
