I took all of 10 minutes to "detail" my Vectra (threw a bucket of suds at it)


I then met up with the Nottingham guys, and Matt... and headed up...

True, but i know ALL of the VxDC lot are on here. Some of AOC, i don't know about the rest.

Both myself and the guys I know tend to take a good look at all of the cars, and at least say hello to everyone, if not be sociable. I think the problem is the Vauxhall scene has fragmented into too many model specific sites and local sites. Everyone I spoke to seemed to think there's a common interest across all the models, hence why a joint meet is such a good idea.

Ideally if we could get a row of half a dozen Astras, a row of half a dozen Calibras etc... we could have a meet with massive appeal to anyone in the Vauxhall scene.

Getting back to my point about fragmentation, it would be nice in my eyes if we could move back towards a central forum / club for Vauxhalls. In my mind, MIG has the infrastructure and staff to make that happen. It would make co-ordinating and having meets/events/shows a whole lot easier and involving for everyone.

Because let's face it, where's the fun in 2 people being stood in a car park together?
