Who's up for a thrash in Leicester?

Who is out about in leicester and fancys a meet? and a drive out down some of the stunning roads arround.

I am reasnably new to this and don't know where the action is at in and around Leicester.

hi looking to meet someone who can help me modify my corsa want to get a redtop engine in it and then im going to do the painting after so if you know anyone who could help please let me know im just out of leicester along a47 to peterbourgh in tugby if you know it

Yeh i know where tugby is mate, i don't know of any companys that do engine conversions localy cos o do all the work myself, it is cheaper! if you are reasnably mechanically proficient then it is not to difficult to do an engine conversion in what you are talking about, you need a fair selection of tools though, and some one to weld for the seam welding etc.

yeh am always happy to have a look at things, offer some advice. The c20xe is the best engine, ideally with the coscast head( so the earlier the better) can be found in the calibra, astra mk2 or the cavalier mk3, the vectra's have a downrated version of the xe so not wowrth it unless its for the right price.

Will have to meet up somewhere in town, when you next out in your cars lads.

so any body free this week at all i know a good drive start of in leicester town centre go out along the a47 towards peterbourgh it is a really good drive and very open road

will be up for this wen i get my car running again lads, also any one got any engines laying about, need an engine to fiit to my corsa c 1.2 sxi pre face lift, z12xe or x12xe will drop straight in but looking for more power, already killed 3, and yes lads we do have sum great roads in and around leicestershire

There's usually a gathering of modded cars up at Thurmaston McDonalds next to the big Asda. A bit cruisey perhaps but there's some nice cars about..
