Lincoln Meet - November

Saturday 28th november - 7pm, B&Q carpark, lincoln

its been discussed in the east mids register thread that we should have a bit of a meet before christmas, so i just thought i'd put it up here in its own thread so people can find it

B&Q car park in lincoln has been mentioned by a few people and seems as good a place as any, its got a big car park and is always empty

not sure of when exactly, but as a rough date and to give adequate notice what about saturday 28th novenmber? i dont know what time people would prefer, personally i think 4-5pm ish and just see how it goes, but everyone needs to decide.

i'm well up for it and i know a couple people on here will certainly come too, so if your interested then say so below! if you have any suggestions then say so too!



unfortunately i have no internet at home at present so only have 30mins at lunch to scribble this in, so i'll have to take a back seat in organising it, any any RC's please feel free to take the reigns

i think it will be fairly obivous that we are miggers lol, what type of nova do you have?

Interested and might be able to get one or two others to come.

Not so sure on B&Q being the best place to go though. Most car meets I go to in Lincoln are either at The Pride or Woodcocks and either earlier on in the day or in the evening.

I have an Astra G Coupe Turbo though seeing as we're letting eachother know which cars to expect.

had a look the other day and the car park is a triangle so i reckon somewhere at the back which is the point, near the back wall of morrisons? as dan said we'll all recognise the cars. well be the only ones who dont have a flat pack wardrobe on our roofs lol

Sorry to put a downer on this but I really don't think that B&Q is the best place for this. It's still open till 8pm or 9pm on a Saturday.

Surely a pub would be better or what about over by B&M Homestore, (formerly GlynnWebb), near Screwfix? It's not likely to be busy at 7pm as the gym closes at 5:30 on wknds.

The carpark is NEVER full in any sense of the word lmao always loads of spaces left

It's not about being full so much as the fact that there is a reason that nobody normally goes there and that's because you get moved on.

Or it would be a good idea to ask B&Q if it is ok but I have a feeling they would say no.

Hmm, not so sure about them not being able to move us on but as you say, leave it as it is this time round.

For the record though, I've run and helped run a few clubs so I have a good understanding of how to sort these things out so in the future I'd be glad to help out if needs be.
