Right, before I make any enquiries - i really need to know a rough figure on how many - to work out costs etc...

So who do we have?

2. MartinDerekLester
3. Raz
4. Chris9 (and 9.5)
5. Trig

Why Northhants - its not even in the East Mids Region, its in the Central Region.

According to MIGMag, the East Midlands region consists of

East Yorkshire
Leicestershire
Lincolnshire
North Humberside
Nottinghamshire
South Humberside
South Yorkshire

No wonder that no-ones gonna be interested in any event if it takes place in somewhere that is not central, and convenient to those it applies to!!!

jeez! sorry mate!

Where would everyone like the RR Session to be - does anybody know anywhere off hand?

It would take place in the Centre of the East Mid region... which is possibly South Lincolnshire maybe???

I've got one... also the online Yellow pages at www.yell.co.uk

but what could you search under? Car Performance?

People in different areas try to find a place or two so we have got a choice...

top stuff!

ok so if i was to arange a RR day or a thrash around a air field there would be people intrested and not just people who say they will come and dont turn up. because we will have to pay for RR day and proberly the air field. so if you are very intrested i am looking at a RR day in notts at the moment and an air field out towards Grantham. But you have to be serious about doing it other wise it will be a waste of time.if you are intrested PM me with your details eg name and area. poss tele number

I would have every intention of attending, but can't give a definate yeah or nay till a date has been fixed.

Saturdays would have 80% chance of me being there, whereas Sundays only about 20% (due to other commitments).

Small point, but would it be a 'members only' event, or open to anyone? If so, would members get a discount, if not what's the point of joining MIG?

The above was not meant to be a gripe, just a question.

Well I'm not a MIG member I only signed up on the boards a few days ago, does that mean I cant come?

We need to find out when and where it is, I already know a few people that are interested and seeing as there not MIG members either surely it would be a good way to get a few more members...

as for not being a 'fully paid member'. that doesn't matter mate - altho, with being one - you get discount left right and centre...

for only £20 per year you get discounts, spots on the mig stands at shows such as billing, santa pod, trax etc....

i alone have already saved about £120 on 4 order. therefore - its more than good for me!

i would like to point out that this is a Vaux only meet... no f*rds please! ta!

Any more Questions - just contact me!

Before you get on your high horse.
Northants Motorsport is one of the best Rolling Roads in this area.
Thats the one the leicestershire vscc uses.
Dont just shoot your mouth off.

WTF???

Wasn't getting on my high horse pal. Don't give a wet fart where the best rolling road in the country is.

All I was attempting to do was illustrate that the MIG East Midlands region is different to the Central TV East Midlands.

As such the people towards the north of the region are continually getting left out of any events- the forgotten area.

As for shooting off my mouth

Right, Lads!

I will be calling Martin tonight, regarding the RR sesh... and its looking good...

but like the above people have said... if we are doing it - we need DEDICATED people who will turn up, simply because it will be myself and martin who loose out if it falls through.

I have been making negotitations with a neighbouring region - the central region - which is run by Claire (Boardname - Betty) and they too agree that a joint RR is going to be best for everyone - the reasons follow below:

1. 4 people organising it, more coverage, less stress on individuals.

2. with 2 lots of regions members - more people certain to turn up

3. with having more people turn up - we can negotiate a discount - for either being fully paid members and/or having so many people there!

Leave your thoughts below about making this session a joint one!

Thanks lads - off to call Martin now.
