Yes, this meet is still going ahead...

the first venue has been confirmed as Fosse Park (behind Pizza Hut)

Date: Sun 28th July 2002
Time: 1:00pm
Venue: Pizza Hut, Fosse Park, Leicester

directions and map will be posted soon!
as this is soo soo much easier to get to, a bigger space, and we need not ask anyones permission... only stopping to meet each other and show each other cars etc...

then we are off to the "spot" to meet DazCav and the West Mids Crew!

I'm definately coming with 2 in tow as well, dunno if it'll be 1 or 3 cars though. Depends on how far we have to travel, gotta do some miles to get to ya to start with!!

If you can let us know how far we going after Leicester meet then I can give ya some more info!!

right, i've noticed that a few members are NOT repeat NOT keen on the ILLEGAL part of this meet... therefore - we MIGHT not be joining in... we WILL still meet up with DazCav etc... but not take part and go to the illegal destination!

MIG does not want anyone being involved in any illegal meetingd orgainsed here on MIG

as far as we are concerned if something else is going on elsewhere then the attendance of this is purely nothing to do with the East Mids MIG meet.

What are we like...

Another new update... We (EastMids) are NOT, i repeat NOT getting involved with ANY illegal cruises or meets...

the meet on the 28th is purely a meet and that only, but we ARE going to be meeting DazCav etc... but NOT going or attending any illegal stuff!

People who still want to attend please do, people who decided not to come because of this fact... please re-consider!

If individuals want to attend this "cruise" by all means do so... but myself and fellow friends will have no part in this!

the reason for the sudden change of plan on this matter is simply because people were concerned about the happenings and being so far away from home...

Hope this please all people related!

can i just say that THIS MEET is for mig members ..(and new 1s )
and the follow on to the mig meet later on in the day is to meet more ppl with modded cars ....
and to see if we can get more ppl to use the mig board and become members ..
im not sure myself what will happen at this FINAL destination ..
all i know is that i have spoke to ppl from different vaux baords and other non vaux boards and they have asked me if i will participate and join in ...
i being the man i am said OK and will see if i can get some of the MIG drivers to come along IF they wanted to ..
THAT IS UP TO THE MIG MEMBERS ..
i am still up for meeting the east mids MIG members on the 28th july ...
but as i say it is up to the other drivers of the mig meet if they want to make a DAY of it all ...
I WILL BE !!!!!!!
SEE YOU ALL THERE ..
I HOPE IVE CLEARED UP SOME CONFUSION !!!.

As regional co-ordinator for east mids region. there will be no illegal activites at any of this regions meetings. if you as an mig member wish to take part in any illegal activertes you do so as an individual and not as a member of mig. if any member is concerned about the behaviour or actions of any mig member at any of the OFFICAL east mids meeting they are to contact me.
